Marshall-East Carolina Baseball Series Finale Cancelled Due to Rain

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Sunday's baseball series finale between Marshall and East Carolina has been cancelled due to poor field conditions at Appalachian Power Park after heavy rain in the region. No makeup date has been announced.

The Pirates (24-12, 6-5 Conference USA) won both games of Friday's doubleheader with the Thundering Herd (14-19, 0-8). Game three of the series was scheduled to be played on Saturday, but rain also caused that contest to get postponed.

Marshall will travel to Eastern Kentucky for its next game on Tuesday.
