Conference USA Commisioner'S Honor Roll Announced

IRVING, Texas - A total of 1,773 student-athletes have earned recognition to the Commissioner's Honor Roll during the 2006-07 academic year, Commissioner Britton Banowsky announced today. Student-athletes named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. The Thundering Herd ranked fourth out of 12 schools with a total of 181 student-athletes earning 3.0's or better.
UCF placed the highest number of student-athletes on the honor roll, producing 190 members. SMU followed close behind with 188, while Rice ranked third with 183 student-athletes on the list.
Student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better also receive the Commissioner's Academic Medal. Those winners will be released Wednesday.
