Herd Baseball to Host Fall Skills Camp in September

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University baseball program will host a two-day Fall Skills Camp on Sept. 29-30 at Charleston's Appalachian Power Park for players enrolled in grades 9-12.
The Fall Skills Camp is designed to help players sharpen their fundamental skills under the guidance of the Marshall coaching staff. Jeff Waggoner, entering his second season as head coach of the Thundering Herd, and his staff will instruct players and lead drills along with lectures on weight training, academics and other issues facing college-bound athletes.
Both the Saturday and Sunday sessions will run from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Cost of the camp is $150 and the deadline to enroll is Sept. 21. For more information, contact the Marshall baseball office at 304/696-6454.
