Jackson Leaps to Third Place in Triple Jump

Lexington, Ky. - Sophomore Andrea Jackson (Sumter, S.C.) finished third place in the triple jump event at the Kentucky Invitational Friday. Jackson had a jump of 38 feet and three and a half inches.
Also on Friday, senior Britani Keeney (Proctorville, Ohio) finished in ninth place in the weight throw event and junior LaTricia Jones (Spartanburg, S.C.) placed 10th right behind her teammate.
Keeney registered a throw of 52 feet and one inch while Jones has a distance of 51 feet and five inches.
The Marshall University Women's Track team will continue at the Kentucky Invitational tomorrow at the Nutter Field House.
