Volleyball's Fleming Named to Conference USA All-Academic Team

IRVING, Texas - Elizabeth Fleming of the Marshall University volleyball team was selected to the 11-member Conference USA All-Academic Team announced by league officials.

The All-Academic team consists of student-athletes who have earned a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or better and are a starter or key contributor on their respected team.

As a student-athlete, Fleming has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA while majoring in International Affairs.

During her junior campaign, the South Bend, Ind., native averaged 11.17 assists per set as the starting setter for the Herd. Fleming dished out 50-or-more assists on four separate occasions, while collecting 10 double-doubles on the season.

Fleming was named to the C-USA All-Academic team as a sophomore last season.
