Marshall Volleyball Announces Date for Green/White Game

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall volleyball team will play its annual Green/White game on Saturday, Aug. 22. The match is scheduled for 6 p.m. inside the Cam Henderson Center.

The scrimmage will include four upperclassmen on this season's squad in Elizabeth Fleming, Elizabeth Herman, Kristin Marcum and Emily Sullivan. Fleming, a junior, was recently named to the 2009 Conference USA Preseason Volleyball Team, announced by league officials.

The first regular season match for the Herd is on Aug. 28 at the Hofstra/Asics Invitational against Binghamton University in Hempstead, N.Y., at 4:30 p.m.
