Gray Finishes MLS Combine, Heads to Draft

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Marshall University men's soccer head coach, Bob Gray, the Chairman of the Major League Soccer Combine, just finished up his 12th MLS Combine and is now on his way to Philadelphia, Pa., for the MLS draft and the NCAA coach's convention.
For the first time since going to the combine, Gray coached one of four teams that were split between the 72 college seniors participating in the combine. Gray joined Jorge Salcedo of UCLA, Matt Spear of Davidson and Mike Noonan of Clemson as coaches. Gray's team finished with a record of 2-1.
Gray, the reigning Conference USA Coach of the Year, now heads to Philadelphia for the MLS Draft which will be held on Thursday, Jan.14. Marshall's Dustin Dawes is on the MLS draft board and is eligible to be drafted.
