Baseball Adds Gandolfo to 2011 Signing Class

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University baseball team added another player to the 2011 signing class in John Gandolfo, announced by head coach Jeff Waggoner on Monday.

Gandolfo hails from Franklin Lakes, N.J., where he played at Ramapo HS. The 6-foot 160-pound outfielder played summer baseball for the South Florida Bandits. A speedster, Gandolfo was a perfect 26-for-26 on stolen base attempts as a junior. He hit .488 last summer and .455 during the summer of 2009.
