MU Track and Field Competes at the Pioneer Invitational

MARIETTA, Ohio - The Marshall University women's track and field team travels to Marietta, Ohio, Friday afternoon to participate in the Pioneer Invitational hosted by Marietta College.

This is MU's third competition of the 2009-10 indoor season. The Herd had last weekend off after participating in the Niswonger Invitation hosted by Middle Tennessee State University on Jan. 22.

Brittany Carey, Andrea Jackson, Kristin Smith and LaTricia Jones lead the charge into Marietta. All three are coming off stellar performances two weeks ago. The Pioneer Invitational is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
