Jackson Awaits NCAA Indoor National Fate

BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Marshall University women's track and field team finished its indoor season with four athletes competing at the Virginia Tech Last Chance Meet for a final opportunity to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Nationals.

The four MU participants all had great individual performances; however, no one improved upon personal bests. Andrea Jackson still awaits a decision to see if she will receive a birth in the national championships.

Jackson provisionally qualified for the indoor championships two weeks ago with a jump of 42-02 feet in the triple jump at the Hokie Invitational. She now waits in a pool with other provisional qualifiers hoping to receive an invite to the NCAA National Championships.
