Men's Soccer Adds Depth in Net

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall University men's soccer head coach Bob Gray has announced the addition of goalie Michael McCabe to the Thundering Herd 2010 roster.

A native of Mechanicsville, Va., McCabe joins the Herd to compete in net with reigning Conference USA Freshman of the Year, Daniel Withrow, and Dane Wilson.

"We are excited to add Michael to the roster," Gray said. "He will give us more depth and he brings instant experience that is needed to compete at this level, as he plays at the highest club level in Virginia."

McCabe currently net minds at the club level for Pachuca International (MD). The high school senior was an attendee of the U-16 and U-18 Richmond Kickers U.S. Developmental Academy, and was a First-Team All-District selection from 2008-10 playing in net for Atlee High School.

McCabe is the eighth member of MU's incoming freshman class of 2010.
