Men's Soccer Alumni Game Set For Sunday Afternoon

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University men's soccer team hosts its annual alumni game Sunday afternoon in Joan C. Edwards Stadium with kickoff set for 1 p.m.

Legendary soccer coach Sam Hood will be at the helm of the alumni team which fields a roster of 21 past Thundering Herd players. Seniors Michael Bolt, Dustin Dawes, Matt Dickerson, JD Kepler and Greg Walter will all play for the alumni squad.

"This game is a great way to reconnect with our alumni," Head Coach Bob Gray said. "It's also good for our current players to meet players from the past."

Sunday's match concludes Marshall's spring season. The Herd opens the 2010 season with a home match against Xavier.
