Rumburg Wins Shot Put at Stan Lyons Invitational

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Cara Rumburg's toss of 42-02.25 feet was four feet clear of second place as she won the Shot Put at the Stan Lyons Invitational.

For the senior, Princeton, W.Va. native, this is her second consecutive meet grabbing first place. Last week Rumburg took the top spot at the EKU Invitational.

The Marshall University women's track and field team is in competition next weekend at the Jesse Owens Invitational in Columbus, Ohio, then has two weeks off before the Conference USA Outdoor Championships, hosted by the UCF Knights.
