Baseball Set to Finish Fall World Series

HUNTINGTON, W.VA. – Marshall baseball will close out the final three games of the annual Fall World Series this weekend, starting Friday at 3:00 p.m.

The intrasquad series is currently lead by Coach Waggoner’s team 2-1. The head coach’s team opened up the series with a 5-2 win over Coach Blain’s team this past Friday.

The following day, Coach Blain’s squad redeemed themselves with a 6-5 win after being down four runs at one point.

In the weekend’s final contest on Sunday, Coach Waggoner’s team pulled out a 3-1 win.

Marshall baseball will continue the series this Friday at 3:00 p.m. and will follow with a game on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. The final game of the fall event will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
