Bob Gray Announces Men's Soccer 2011 Spring Schedule

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Head coach Bob Gray of the men's soccer team released the 2011 spring schedule which features five playing days against ten different teams, along with the annual Alumni Game.
Competition beings on March 5th, as the Thundering Herd takes its talents to Portsmouth, Ohio, for games with Shawnee State and a team to be named in the near future.
The next weekend, March 13th, the Herd will be in Charleston, W.Va., for games with WVU Tech and West Virginia Wesleyan at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
MU then takes the next three weekends off before taking the pitch on April 3rd, once again in Charleston, with matches against the University of Charleston and Radford University. The Herd defeated Radford in the 2010 regular season, 3-1.
It is then to Beckley, W.Va., seven days later where the Herd will face Longwood University and Lees McRae. Marshall then concludes its playing dates on April 16th, in Highland Heights, Ky., with matches against Northern Kentucky and Notre Dame College.
The annual Alumni Game is set for the day after which will be played inside Joan C. Edwards Stadium with kickoff set for 1 p.m.
