Baseball Inks Tucci to Signing Class

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University baseball team added infielder Nolan Tucci to the 2012 signing class announced recently by head coach Jeff Waggoner.

Tucci, a native of Clarksburg, W.Va., is in his final season at Notre Dame HS, where he is a three-sport star in football, basketball and most importantly for Marshall fans, baseball.

As a junior, Tucci hit at a .511 clip connecting for 45 hits in 88 at bats, en route to being named first team all-state, all-county and all-conference for his excellence on the playing field. Tucci added 12 homers, 40 RBI, 48 runs scored and a .686 on-base percentage to his junior season stat line.
