Men's Golf Travels to Ball State

MUNCIE, Ind. - Marshall University's men's golf team will compete in Ball State University's Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at the Delaware Country Club in Muncie, Indiana.
The Delaware Country Club features a par 70, 6,438-yard course and the tournament field includes Austin Peay, Ball State, Bowling Green, Butler, Cleveland State, Dayton, Eastern Kentucky, Evansville, Marshall, Northern Illinois, SIU-Edwardsville, Ohio, Valparaiso and Wright State. Ball State will also play a "B" team.
The tournament will consist of 54 holes with 36 holes of continuous play set for Saturday and the final 18 holes scheduled for Sunday.
Marshall's six-man team of Christian Brand, Bosten Miller, Aaron Boggs, Brian Anania, Nathan Kerns and Marshall Hone will also face an unusual scoring format this weekend. Scoring will involve six players with the low five scores counting instead of the usual five players with four scores counting.
