Blair Named Student-Athlete of the Week

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - After a dominating performance on the mound in Marshall baseball's 4-0 win over No. 19 Houston, Aaron Blair was named Marshall's Student-Athlete of the Week.

The junior from Las Vegas, Nev. allowed zero runs, two hits and one walk while matching a season-high with 11 strikeouts in eight innings. Blair (5-1) allowed only four base runners and at one point, retired 14 in a row.

The win on Saturday guaranteed a series win for the Thundering Herd and was Blair's fifth straight quality start of the season.
