GABBING WITH GROBE
Quotes by Coach Matt Grobe:
On the team's performance on Day 1:
"We played up-and-down golf today. It seemed like we had stretches of bad golf followed by stretches of good golf. If we can eliminate some little mental mistakes I think we will put up a good score tomorrow."
On senior Jacob Miller's performance:
"I'm really happy that Jake turned in a good round for us. He fought hard to shoot a 34 on the back nine. It is always good to have the guy playing No. 5 for us come in with a good score."
