HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Marshall baseball will look to take its third consecutive conference series when the Herd travels to San Antonio to face first-year Conference USA member UTSA beginning Friday at 7 p.m.

Marshall is 7-7 in league play after taking two of three from Florida Atlantic last weekend in Beckley. The Herd has an overall record of 13-18 after winning both its midweek contests; Eastern Kentucky 7-3 and Ohio 2-1.

Herd coach Jeff Waggoner needs just one more win to become the second winningest coach in Marshall baseball history at 171 wins.
