SMALL TALK
Quotes from coach Jeff Small
On how the men performed in the 8k
"Jack Whitney, Caleb Bowne and William Shaffer all had really good races this week. Tyler Salmons and Austin Hamrick improved this week and will need to continue to do so to place, which will help the team improve."
On the performance of the women as a team and individually
"Our girls team were again led by Andrea Porter, Tori Dent and Madeline Armstrong, The entire team improved their performances this week compared to our opener in Akron. Lauren Bartoldson had a hood race as did Alex Phares. The girls are so young with three freshmen and two sophomores in our top seven that I think they will continue to improve each week."
