Marshall Baseball Announces Winter Hitting League

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. -- Marshall baseball has announced its winter hitting league dates Thursday afternoon.
The Herd will offer six sessions that will focus on the art of hitting through drill work and evaluation of each participant's swing. In addition to general mechanics, areas of focus will be situational offense, bunting, and the mental aspect of hitting.
The league will be divided into two sessions: grades K-8th and grades 9-12.
K-8 will hit from 6:00-7:30, and grades 9-12 from 7:30-9 p.m.
The cost is $150 for all six sessions, or $25 per session. Payment will be accepted in the form of cash or check on the day of each session.
