HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall volleyball hits the road for a trip to the Lone Star State, where it will take on the UTEP Miners on Friday at 8 p.m. (ET) and the UTSA Roadrunners on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. (ET).

HAVE YOU HERD?
Junior libero Allie Kellerman has been a staple in the Herd's defense, as she has contributed 372 digs, good for 4.65 per set which places her first in Conference USA. Kellerman is nine digs shy of 1,000 in her career.

Entering the season, senior Jillian Shemanski had already placed herself in the Marshall volleyball record book in blocks, but with 24 total blocks (8 solo, 16 assist) this season she has improved her status. Shemanski now sits at seventh in total blocks and block assists (290 and 233, respectively), while eighth in block solos (57).

SCOUTING THE MINERS
UTEP enters Friday's matchup with a 7-13 overall record and a Conference USA record of 1-5 with its lone win coming against Middle Tennessee. The Herd and Miners will meet for the 15th time, with Marshall holding the all-time record at 8-6.

Leading the attack for the Miners is Coline Coessens, with 238 kills, good for 3.22 kills per set. Setting up Coesseens is Lindsey Larson, with 680 assists. Larson leads the team in digs with 249.

SCOUTING THE ROADRUNNERS
Prior to Marshall's meeting with UTSA, the Roadrunners will face in-state rival Rice on Thursday. UTSA is 13-6 overall with a 4-1 C-USA record with its only loss coming against #23 Western Kentucky in four sets. The Roadrunners have defeated Middle Tennessee, North Texas, UAB and UTEP all in three sets.

Pacing the Roadrunners is Kylie Schott, who is second in C-USA in hitting percentage with .402 and third in blocks with 1.11 per set.
