Herd Concludes Action at Furman Intercollegiate

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Sophomore Clark Robinson (South Windsor, Conn.) of the Marshall men's golf team finished 25th out of 114 competitors at the Furman Intercollegiate at Furman University Golf Course on Sunday.
Robinson had the best finish for the Thundering Herd with a 54-hole combined score of 4-over-par 220. In the final round, he shot a 5-over 77. As a team, Marshall finished in 16th place at 40-over 904.
ON THE LEADERBOARD
Brandon Matthews of Temple rallied in the final round, moving up from third place to champion the tournament by three strokes at 10-under 206. Georgia State took team honors by a 16-stroke margin at 6-under 858.
