Fofanah Makes NCAA Regionals in 100 and 200 Meters

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Marshall sprinter Isatu Fofanah has qualified for the NCAA East Regional at the University of North Florida next Thursday-Saturday, the program learned Friday afternoon.

The Ponoka, Alberta, Canada native will compete in the 100 and 200 meters, events she placed third (11.49 seconds) and seventh (24.14 seconds) in at the Conference USA Championships last weekend.

The West Regional will take place at Austin, Texas. The top 48 athletes in each region qualify for the preliminary round. The top 12 finishers at both regions qualify for the NCAA final round in Eugene, Oregon, which will take place June 10-13.
