@HerdVolleyball Wraps Up Preseason On Sunday

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - With the season opener quickly approaching, the Marshall volleyball team will hold its final scrimmage of the preseason. The annual Green and White scrimmage will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23 in the Cam Henderson Center.
Admission is free.
"The Green and White scrimmage will be a good chance for our fans to get a preview of this year's team," Herd coach Mitch Jacobs said of the event. "With spots still up for grab, it will be interesting to see how the players react in competition."
Marshall will start its 2015 season Friday, Aug. 28 when the Herd travels to the Eagle Challenge hosted by Morehead State. Marshall will face Indiana State and Morehead State on Friday and then will finish the weekend with Canisius on Saturday (Aug. 29).
The Herd will open their home schedule against Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 1 at 6 p.m.
