@HerdBaseball Hitting League Postponed Monday

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall baseball’s hitting league was postponed Monday due to inclement weather.
 
The Herd will have a makeup day of Monday, March 7, with kindergarten through eighth grade going from 6-7:30 p.m. and ninth through 12th grade from 7:30-9 p.m.
 
The focus of this camp is to provide instruction in an organized and enjoyable atmosphere through six sessions. The art of hitting will be addressed through drill work and evaluation of each participant’s swing. In addition to general mechanics, areas of emphasis will include situational offense, bunting, and the mental aspect of hitting.
