Marshall Announces 2016 Football Season Ticket Information

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- The 2015 football season came to a close with the Thundering Herd winning as least 10 games for the third consecutive season and a bowl trophy for the fourth time in the Doc Holliday era.

Season ticket renewals are online now, and have been since Wednesday.
"The first week of renewals was one the best opening weeks we have had in a handful of years," said Assistant Director of Ticketing Cole Woodrum. "We are finding ways to add to the season ticket holder experience every day. We had close to 10 percent of our season ticket holder base renew in the first three days of the renewal period."
"We are very excited to announce that we will have weekly giveaways to encourage our season ticket holders to renew early. Season ticket holders who renewed last week will receive a customized letter of intent signed by coach Doc Holliday and will be eligible for all of the promotional giveaways."
The giveaways are listed below and customers must renew by today in order to be eligible for the week 1 giveaway.

The earlier you renew, the more prizes you are eligible to win. Prizes will be given away at random to those who renew.
Week 1: Honorary captain for a home football game
Week 2: Sideline pass to a home football game
Week 3: MBB courtside seats
Week 4: Team issued shoes
Week 5: Autographed Doc Holliday signed football
Week 6: Two tickets in the Athletic Director's sky suite
Week 7: Team issued polo
Week 8: Team autographed poster
Week 9: Two chairback seats for the Louisville game
Week 10: Pregame tunnel experience
Week 11: Two tickets to the 2016-2017 bowl game
Want season tickets for the first time in 2016?
You're in luck. The ticket office will offer season ticket deposits for the first time. Ticket deposits are $50 and will be applied to your overall ticket order. If you pay the deposit, you will be able to select your seats one week prior to season tickets going on sale to the general public. The deposit is non-refundable. Customers who pay their deposit are also eligible for all of the giveaways shown above.
Timeline for the renewal process:

3/4/16- Hard copy renewals mailed out
4/15/16- Renewal deadline
4/25/16- Customers who paid their $50 ticket deposit can select their season tickets
4/30/16- Season tickets on sale to the general public at the annual Green and White Game
