Marshall Completes Second Round at Furman Intercollegiate

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Senior Logan Lagodich (Canton, Ohio) and sophomore Alex Weiss (Pickerington, Ohio) paced the Marshall men's golf team through two rounds at the Furman Intercollegiate at Furman University Golf Course on Saturday.
Weiss had the Herd's best day, shaving four strokes off his first round score by shooting a 1-under-par 71 to total 2-over 146. With one round remaining, Lagodich is two strokes ahead at even 144, tied for 27th place. As a team, Marshall totaled 9-over 585 through two rounds for 14th.
ON THE LEADERBOARD
Georgia State pulled into the lead at 16-under 560, four strokes ahead of Harvard. USC Upstate's Ryan Cornfield has the individual lead by one stroke at 10-under 134.
