HAVE YOU HERD?
The 2016 Marshall baseball team has the chance to make history on Tuesday. With a win against the Demon Deacons, the Thundering Herd will become the all-time winningest team in program history. Marshall tied the record of 30 wins that was set in 2008 on Sunday with a 5-2 win at WKU. The Herd has won its last nine games, and has won 13 of its last 15 contests.
Juniors Leo Valenti (Olympia, Wash.) and Parker Danciu (Palm Beach, Fla.) received weekly Player of the Week awards from CollegeSportsMadness.com on Monday. Danciu had his best outing of the season for the Herd on Saturday by going eight innings with four strikeouts and allowing one run (unearned).
