@HerdVolleyball Opens Home Schedule with Ohio Tuesday

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Marshall volleyball opens its home schedule on Tuesday by hosting the Ohio Bobcats at the Cam Henderson Center for a 6 p.m. first serve.
This is the 43rd meeting between the Herd (1-2) and Bobcats (0-3), but first meeting since 2013.
HAVE YOU HERD?
Freshman Madison Hill hit the ground running in her first collegiate tournament this past weekend at the Indiana Invitational. The Rockwall, Texas native was named to the All-Tournament team and was tied with Cassie Weaver for a team-high 34 kills, while holding a .527 hitting efficiency. Hill recorded 10 blocks during the tournament.
The Thundering Herd was aggressive from the service line at the Indiana Invitational. Marshall ranks 16th in the country with 25 aces, while ranking 18th overall with 2.27 aces per set. Freshman Jac'cara Walker paced the Herd from the line with 12 aces, good for second in the nation.
Senior libero Allie Kellerman moved up in the record books, as she passed Alisha Bable (1995-97) for seventh all-time in career digs with 1,213. She is 18 digs away from sixth all-time.
SCOUTING THE BOBCATS
Ohio enters the midweek matchup after a disappointing beginning to its 2016 season. The Bobcats hosted an invitational that featured No. 22 WKU, Florida Gulf Coast and Villanova. Ohio dropped its first match to the Lady Toppers in four sets, while falling in three to the Eagles and Wildcats.
The Bobcats were led by freshman Lizzie Stephens with 33 kills offensively, while on defense Brooke Coleman had a team-best 44 digs.
PROMOTIONS
It will be Maniacs Pizza Party night as all members of the Marshall maniacs will find free pizza when they attend Wednesday's 6 p.m. match. Also the first 100 fans will receive Marshall hats.

UP NEXT
After Tuesday's match, the Herd co-hosts the West Virginia Capital Classic in Charleston, W.Va. from Friday-Saturday. Marshall will open play Friday against Morehead State at 12:30 p.m. and West Virginia at 7:30 p.m. MU finishes the tournament Saturday against Indiana State at 1 p.m.
