A meet schedule and link for live results can be found above. Conference USA opposition Charlotte and Florida International are among the over 20 teams scheduled to compete at the meet. A full list of scheduled teams can be found here.
The meet is the team's second home meet after the team defeated Ohio University in a dual meet in December. The meet is also the team's third consecutive weekend with a meet, as the team competed at the Hokie Invitational last week.
Last weekend, sophomore Adriana Cook broke the school's record in the 3K, as she won the event with a time of 10:00.06. Junior Barkley Castro also broke a school record in the 1K with a time of 2:57.11. Freshmen Safiyyah Mitchell and Danere'a White the school record in the 300m dash with a time of 40.52.
"We're excited for the meet," assistant coach and meet director Travis Coleman said. "It's grown every year, and this is the biggest field we've had. The cutoffs to get into this meet are very tough; for us not being in a power five conference and still to host this quality of a meet is huge for our program. We're looking forward to a top caliber meet, and it will be nice for Marshall University and the Huntington community to host it."
A recap will be available following each day of competition. Follow the team on Twitter @HerdTFXC and on the HerdZone snapchat for pictures, videos, and results from the Thundering Herd Invitational.
