HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The postseason awards for Marshall women's soccer did not end yesterday, as junior Jenna Zuzolo and sophomore Karen Rogge were named to the Conference USA All-Academic second team, the league announced Thursday.

It marks the first time Zuzolo and Rogge were named to the All-Academic team, while it is the first time multiple players have been on the team since Kelly Culicerto, Jenna Dubs and Jordan Parkhurst made the team in 2015.

Zuzolo, a biological science major with a 3.81 GPA, started and played in all 17 matches for the Herd. The junior was one of the team leaders in minutes (1,324), shots (14) and shots on goal (six). This is not Zuzolo's first academic honor, as she has earned the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal for achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better as a freshman in 2015-16 and as a sophomore in 2016-17 and she is also a two-time member of the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Rogge, a student-athlete with a 4.0 GPA in accounting, played in 16 matches for Marshall. She scored her lone goal of the season at UAB on Oct. 6. The sophomore earned the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal as a freshman in 2016-17 and was named to the commissioner's honor roll as well.
