HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Herd men's basketball heads back on the road for a rivalry matchup against the Ohio Bobcats on Saturday (Dec. 1) at the Convocation Center.

HAVE YOU HERD
Four of Marshall's five victories this season have been by at least 20 points.

Senior guard Rondale Watson scored a season-high 12 points in the victory Wednesday night over William & Mary.

Senior guard Jon Elmore became the third player in program history to reach the 2,000-point plateau, joining John Taft and Skip Henderson.

Senior guard C.J. Burks is the lone Marshall player to score 10 or more points in all six contests this season.

Elmore has collected four games of 20 or more points and is six points away from surpassing South Florida's Altron Jackson for third most in Conference USA history with 2,018.

SCOUTING THE BOBCATS
The Bobcats are 4-2 on the season and are currently on a two-game win streak after taking down Austin Peay and Iona in their last two contests. Ohio sports a 42.8 shooting percentage from the field, but is only shooting 23 percent from beyond the arc. Ohio is outrebounding its opponents by a margin of 9.7 rebounds per game. The Bobcats have been without Jordan Dartis due to injury to this point in the season. Last season Dartis was second on the team in scoring (12.9 ppg) and was second-team all-MAC. Ohio was tabbed to finish fourth in the MAC East Division.

WHO TO KNOW

The redshirt sophomore is the team's leading scorer with 18.7 points per game and is second in rebounds with 7.3 boards per contest. The forward has made 40 of his 78 attempts from the field.

Teyvion Kirk is the second-leading scorer for the Bobcats averaging 16.2 points per contest in his team's first six games this season. Kirk also leads the team in assists with 19 helpers.

Freshman Ben Vander Plas scores 11.5 points off the bench for Ohio. The freshman leads the Bobcats from three-point range hitting 37.1 percent of his shots from beyond the arc.
