Herd Competes At Catamount Classic Friday and Saturday

Meet Schedule
HUNTINGTON, W.Va-Marshall track and field returns to action Friday at the Catamount Classic hosted by Western Carolina in Cullowhee, North Carolina.
The Herd will travel a larger squad than it has the past two weeks. No athlete competed in both of the previous two meets Marshall attended. Two weeks ago, the Herd sent athletes to the Pepsi Florida Relays while last weekend athletes competed at the Ohio University Cherry Blossom Invitational.
Junior Sarah Bever is the first Thundering Herd athlete to compete as she competes in the heptathlon beginning Friday at 2:15 p.m. She competes in the 100 meter hurdles, high jump, shot put, and 200 meter dash Friday and will compete in three other events Saturday.
Scheduled to compete in the first throwing event on Friday is the trio of Reneese Batson, Ericka Budd, and Hasana Clark in the hammer throw at 3 p.m.
All running events for Marshall occur on Saturday. The 4x100 meter relay is set to run first for the Herd at 12:15 p.m.
