Herd Heads North to Compete at Ohio University

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.-Marshall track and field competes Saturday at the Ohio University Cherry Blossom Invitational in Athens, Ohio.
Marshall competes in its fourth state in as many weeks. The Herd will compete against former Mid-American Conference foe Ohio in addition to Charleston, Dayton, Rio Grande, Shawnee State, and Wright State.
Marshall athletes compete in 11 events Saturday. Taylor Martin gets Marshall underway at noon in the long jump. The final event of the day for Thundering Herd athletes is the 5000 meter run at 4:20 p.m.

2 p.m. High Jump: Maleah Penn
2:45 p.m. 1500m: Madeline Armstrong, Samantha Graffius, Mary Kerby, Abigail Short
2:55 p.m. 100m Hurdles: Isabella Tremble
3:10 p.m. 100m: LaShonda McDowell
3:25 p.m. 800m: Holly Ackerman, Madeline Armstrong, Alyssa Long
3:35 p.m. 400m Hurdles: Isabella Tremble
3:45 p.m. 200m: LaShonda McDowell
4:20 p.m. 5000m: Jane Jensen, Audreana Lewis, Allison Short
