COACH QUOTES
"I'm glad we were able to get this meet in," assistant coach Caleb Bowen said. "It was a great experience running against really good competition on a tough but really good course.
"I was pleased with the women's pack getting closer together and I'm excited to see them progress and get closer throughout the season, with key members of that pack being Alexandra Evans and Mary Zualuf.
"I was hoping for our 1-5 split on the men's side to be a lot closer than it was, but that is something we'll continue to work on. Nick Schmidt ran a great race as well as Ian Domenick running his first 8K ever.
"I'm excited to get back to training and get ready for the first real test of the season at the Paul Short Invitational."
