Quotes from assistant coach Caleb Bowen
On expectations
"Meet three is where people start throwing in their top athletes to compete. Everyone trains up to this point, this is when competition begins for conferences, regionals, and nationals. We've put an emphasis on this meet all year up to this point because we've known it would be really competitive and we know there will be many teams from our region at this meet, so if we beat several of our regional teams we know we be ranked top-15 in the region."

On the men's side
"One thing we've been working on is running together more in a pack. I look for us to run close together but at a high level. I want our three though five guys to be as close to Nick Schmidt and Alex Minor as possible. We're racing against great competition like Georgia, Richmond, Virginia Tech, Utah State, and a lot of teams a lot like us. Racing against new teams and racing better teams only makes you better, and that's something we try to do at every meet we go to."

On the women's side
"I want to see us run to our potential. We train them to run a 6K, and usually we run a 5K, and I believe the training will really help them in the final 2K of the race. We focus on pack running, and I think they'll do a great job of that. There's some really good teams we'll race against like Delaware, Temple, Towson, UMBC; all teams in our region. It's going to be really competitive."
