HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall men's basketball travels to South Bend, Ind., for its first road contest as it prepared to take on the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame on Friday (Nov. 15) night.

Marshall fell to the Toledo Rockets on Sunday (Nov. 10) 96-70.
Junior guard Jarrod West scored 20 points in back-to-back games for the first time in his career.
Sophomore guard Taevion Kinsey collected the fourth 20-point game of his career in the loss.
The Thundering Herd's opponents have held them to the fewest points in the first games of a season since head coach Dan D'Antoni's first year at the helm.
D'Antoni is three wins away from winning 100 in his career at Marshall.
The last time Marshall faced Notre Dame was in 1919, a loss by a final score of 27-9.
SCOUTING NOTRE DAME
Fighting Irish head coach Mike Brey is in his 20th season at the helm.
ND has won two of its first three games with its lone loss coming on opening night at Dean Dome to North Carolina, 76-65, on Nov. 6.
Its two wins came against Robert Morris and Howard by an average margin of 32 points.
The Fighting Irish have four players averaging at least 10 points lead by Prentiss Hubb's 14.7. Hubb also leads in assists with 14.
John Mooney is averaging a double-double through the first three games with 12.7 points and 11.3 rebounds per game. He is also second in steals on the team with four.
Notre Dame is shooting 47 percent from the field while holding its opponents to just 46 percent from the field.
