Schedule Set for High School Track and Field Meet

Doors open at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday
HUNTINGTON, W. Va. –Marshall University will host its annual High School Track and Field Meet on Saturday at the Jeff Small Track within the Chris Cline Indoor Athletic Complex. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. and the first event kicks off at 9 a.m.
Over 650 athletes from high schools in Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia are set to compete in the meet.
Parking is available in the West Lot by Joan C. Edwards Stadium. From there, meet officials ask that spectators enter the facility through the Marshall University Athletics Hall of Fame entrance, facing 3rd Avenue. There is a $5 admission fee for spectators, who will be able to watch the competition from the stands. Only athletes, coaches and officials are permitted onto the track and infield.
Notes:
Following the conclusion of the Boys 60-meter final, the remaining events will proceed on a rolling schedule (listed times are approximate).
No food or drink (aside from water) is permitted within the complex.
