Herd Wraps Competition at NCAA East Preliminary

2018-19 season winds down
JACKSONVILLE, Fla.– Marshall's track and field season came down the home stretch this weekend at the NCAA East Preliminary, a competition that saw three Thundering Herd student-athletes participate.

Junior Christianna Dogan and freshman Ashonti Warner ran in the 400-meter hurdles event. Dogan finished in 30th-place with her 59.94 time, a new personal-best and the second-best in Marshall history. Warner finished 32nd, clocking in at 1:00.28.

Junior Safiyyah Mitchell ran in the 100-meter hurdles, finishing 44th with a time of 14.20 seconds.
Â
This season saw Marshall tally eight different school records, three Conference USA All-Academic medals and 12 athletes named to the Conference USA's Commissioner's honor roll.
