Marshall plays a pair of C-USA opponents

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall women's soccer (2-7-0) hosts UTEP on Thursday (Sept. 26) at Hoops Family Field at 7 p.m., before traveling back to Florida to take on the FIU Panthers on Sunday (Sept. 29) in Miami at 1 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Marshall dropped a pair of contests at Florida Atlantic 4-0 and at Florida Gulf Coast 2-0 last week.
 
Freshman Courtney McVicker made her first career start in goal at Florida Gulf Coast.
 
SCOUTING UTEP
The Miners are 6-2-2 heading into Thursday's matchup. UTEP is coming off a 2-0 week, including a 3-1 victory on Sunday over FIU in its Conference USA opener.
 
Lauren Crenshaw leads the Miner with three goals. Danielle Carreon and Jojo Ngongo trail her in second with two goals each.
 
Tessa Carlin has a team-leading five assists with Emerson Kidd being the only other player with more than one with two.
 
SCOUTING FIU
The Panthers enter the week 2-6-0. Before playing the Herd on Sunday, FIU hosts Charlotte on Thursday.
 
Their two wins each came 3-0 over Jacksonville (Aug. 30) and USC Upstate (Sept. 15).
 
Rayquel Berry has a team-leading two goals and Yolanda Albalat leads the Panthers with three assists this season.
