LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Marshall women's golf team has completed two rounds at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational, hosted by the University of Kentucky at Big Blue Course.
The Herd sits in 12th place.
Junior Kerri Parks saw a one-stroke improvement in the second round and moved up three spots on the leaderboard. She is tied with sophomore Jackie Schmidt in the top spot for the Herd, tied for 39th. Junior Stormy Randazzo had a much better round on Saturday with a seven-stroke improvement and finished with a 2-over 74. Randazzo moved up 12 places on the leaderboard.
The Kentucky Wildcats continue to lead on the team side with an eight-stroke advantage over Penn State. UK overall is 4-under with a team score of 572. Carlota Palacios of Tulane has a one-stroke lead over three players. Palacios scored a 1-under 69 and overall is 4-under with a 140.
