Women’s Soccer Announces ID Camp

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Marshall women's soccer coach Michael Swan has announced a Winter ID Camp to be held on Feb. 29.
The camp details are below:
The Herd Winter ID Camp
Feb. 29th, from 9:30am-4:30pm
Girls from grades 8-11
The Herd Winter ID Camp is $125.00 per attendee.
The camps are designed for players interested in learning what it takes to play soccer at the next level and to get younger plays interested in playing soccer. It will put players in a training environment similar to a college setting, with the ultimate goal of pushing players to their maximum playing ability. Players will train with Marshall University coaches. Demonstrations and game play feature the correct technical methods and enable players to recreate those skills in game scenarios.
An additional area of concentration is the development of positional skills and tactical training designed to improve positional awareness and understanding. Goalkeepers receive separate, specialized coaching as well as game analysis from experienced instructors. Players will leave camp with a greater understanding of how to play and compete at the next level.
