"We competed very well," said Caleb Bowen, Marshall's Assistant Coach for Cross Country. "The times won't show it but I thought the men and women put themselves in good position and raced hard. The heat hurt us but it affected everyone in the race. The women were right in the thick of some really good teams that are ranked in the Southeast region and accomplished a lot of the goals that we had coming in."

Marshall is off until the Conference USA Championships in Charlotte on Saturday, October 30.
