Gonzalez, Jarvis, White Garner Women’s Soccer All-Conference USA Honors

Gonzalez and White named to the third-team, Jarvis to the all-freshman squad
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall women's soccer senior midfielder Kat Gonzalez, junior forward Morgan White and freshman forward Meg Jarvis each garnered all-Conference USA honors on Monday, as announced by the league office. Gonzalez and White were named to the all-Conference USA third-team as Jarvis was named to the conference's all-freshman side.
Gonzalez, a native of Blakeslee, Pa., started and played in all 16 games for the Herd, one of six student-athletes on the team to do so. She finished sixth in C-USA in shots on goal with 23 and in a tie for seventh with five goals, tied for the team lead with Jarvis, while also tallying an assist. The forward was also a perfect 3-for-3 on penalty kicks this season and tallied conference goals at FAU (Oct. 15) and in the season finale at Middle Tennessee (Oct. 28).
White, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, started and played in 14 games this season, seeing 987 minutes on the field. The forward had five goal contributions during the year, finding the back of the net three times with 11 shots on goal, and dishing out a pair of assists, tied for first on the team. White recorded points in three C-USA matches in the form of an assist against (WKU) and scoring a goal at Florida Atlantic (Oct. 15) and a goal in the season finale at Middle Tennessee (Oct. 28).
Jarvis was one of six student-athletes to start all 16 Thundering Herd women's soccer contests this season. The Bath, England, native finished with five goals in her first season in Huntington, tied for the team lead and tied for 7th most in C-USA, on 28 shots, seeing 13 of them go on target. Jarvis recorded a two-goal effort in a win at VMI (Sept. 12) and had goals against C-USA foes WKU (Sept. 16) and Southern Miss (Sept. 19).
