Marshall Tennis Set to Host Bellarmine

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall women's tennis team (2-2) is set to return to court on Friday at the 7827 Tennis Center in Huntington, W.Va., as it takes on Bellarmine University.

HAVE YOU HERD?
Marshall defeated Furman on Sunday 4-3.

The Herd took the doubles point with wins by Jutte Van Hansewyck/Liz Stefancic and Madi Ballow/Madison Riley on courts one and three respectively.

Ballow took her singles match on court three to put MU up 2-1.

After the Green and White went down 3-2, Anna Smith rallied to take her singles match on court two in three sets and Riley sealed the deal with a sweep on court six to take it for the Herd.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT: BELLARMINE
The Knights have fallen in their first three matches to Western Kentucky, Belmont and Bowling Green.

SERIES HISTORY
This will be the first match between the two programs.

FAN ATTENDANCE
Due to current COVID-19 guidelines, Marshall's matches at the 7827 Tennis Center (formerly the Huntington Tennis Club) will be closed to the general public.   Live stats will be available, however, and the access link will be included in each match preview.
