HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Herd women's soccer heads to Dayton, Ohio, to take on the Dayton Flyers Sunday at 4 p.m.
 
HAVE YOU HEARD
Marshall won its first contest of the season on Feb. 13, 2-1, in overtime at ETSU in head coach Michael Swan's debut.
 
Freshman forward Abi Hugh netted a pair of goals in the win.
 
Sophomore goalkeeper Courtney McVicker made six saves on seven shots on goal to record the victory in net.
 
Junior Lauren Hollis was named Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week for her effort in the match.
 
SCOUTING DAYTON
The Flyers are 2-1 this season with wins over Bellarmine and Northern Kentucky, while falling to Butler.
 
This will be UD's first match on their home pitch since Oct. 24, 2019, 493 days.
 
Dayton has had four different goal scorers this season with Itala Gemelli leading the squad with two.
 
The Flyers lead the all-time series between the two programs 2-0-0 and will be the first meeting between the two schools since 2017.
