CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Marshall women's golf team completed the first two rounds on day one of the Chattanooga Classic on Monday, played at the Black Creek Club.
 
The Thundering Herd is in 12th place. As a team, Marshall saw an 11-stroke improvement in round two from round one.
 
Senior Kerri Parks leads the Herd. Parks saw her score improve by four strokes from the first to the second round and moved up three places on the leaderboard. Fellow senior Stormy Randazzo improved her score by five strokes and moved up seven spots. Sophomore Makena Rauch dropped her score by four strokes and moved up five places after the first round.
 
East Tennessee State leads the team competition with a four-stroke lead over Iowa. Tereza Melecka of East Tennessee State leads the player leaderboard by one stroke over Esme Hamilton of Chattanooga.
