Herd Women’s Soccer Opens C-USA Action at Home Against FAU

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Herd women's soccer returns to Hoops Family Field for the first time in 490 days as it plays host to FAU on Friday night at 7 p.m. for its home and Conference USA opener.
HAVE YOU HEARD
Friday will be Marshall's first home women's soccer match since Nov. 1, 2019, a 3-1 loss to Western Kentucky.
The Herd fell at Dayton on Sunday 1-0.
Sophomore goalkeeper Courtney McVicker made seven saves in the contest.
Freshman forward Abi Hugh fired both shots on target for the Herd, while junior forward Kat Gonzalez a shot go off target.
SCOUTING FAU
The Owls are 1-2-1 this season suffering losses to Utah Valley and USF, tying FGCU, and defeating Miami (FL) this past week.
Miracle Porter and Thelma Hermannnsdottir have scored a goal each for FAU.
Cassidy Wasdin has played in two matches goal this season, totaling 200 minutes, and
has not given up a goal.
